The winner of the 2017 edition

The second edition of Arco Rock Star, the climbing photography contest, crowns its winners. The Garda Trentino area, one of the world climbing capitals, hosted for seven days 7 professional photographers, coming from 4 European countries, and 12 amateur photographers, who challenged themselves in search of the perfect shot. The diversity and beauty of the territory and its walls have inspired the beautiful photographs that, with difficulty, the jury (composed by Emilio Previtali, Nicholas Hobley, editor of Planetmountain, by photographer Harald Wisthaler and by the staff of the Adventure Awards Days) had to to judge and select, to award the prizes made available by EpicTv, Ferrino, Rock Slave and the prize money of 500 euros for the first place in the Open category and 1500 for the winner of the Pro category. First place in the Pro category is the photographer and climber Giovanni Danieli, awarded for his ability to tell the spirit of climbing and, at the same time, to represent the athletic gesture in harmony with the territory and the landscape. His team was composed of Giovanni Zaccaria and Carlo Cosi. Second place, the French Alex Buisse, third Federico Ravassard. First place in the Open category, Graziano Galvagni, awarded above all for his creativity and imagination, as well as for the quality of the two photographs presented.
